In order to properly represent this large area, 16 geographically distinct areas were defined as Wards of the School Boards in 2020. This number will be reduced to 12 after the 2024 election. Each Ward has a representative (Commissioner) whose task is to represent the General Public of the Community in the ward and to pay particular attention to the deliberation of the Governing Boards of the Schools in the geographical area of the Ward.
